Small, Medium, or Large?
Eyewear is not often labeled in such a manner. After all, there is more to them than how big they are. Nose width, temple length, lens height, blah, blah, blah.. measurements can go on and on. And they rightfully should when you are getting a custom pair of eyeglasses.
But reading glasses are different. Most people comfortably wear readers that “mostly” fit. If you want to spend $600 on a custom fit pair, more power to you. But if you are like most people and just want a pair that is comfortable and you like how they look. (and oh yeah, they should help you see small things better too) then the “small, medium, large” sizing works like a charm.
So, what size is your head? – Let’s keep this simple, do you need small, medium, or large reading glasses? Whatever your size, find a perfect pair of reading glasses. Once you have a pair that works for you, measure how wide they are. Then keep your next pair close to the same width and they should fit just like the others.
If you don’t know if your head is small, large, or just right. Ask a friend, I’m sure they will be honest with you…
